When booking a band for a wedding or gig, get a contract so all is above board.

Try to keep all your guests in one place, preferably in the same room where the ceilidh is.

Ensure the venue has a safe supply of electricity for the band equipment unless you want an un-amplified band.

Make sure you advertise the gig. People must know about it.
